About Giving Blood
GBPH encourages adults in attendance and from the community to donate their life-giving blood. Our goal for the blood drive is to achieve donations exceeding 200 pints
over the tournament weekend.
Two bloodmobiles will be at the event on Friday, Saturday and Sunday so attendees can give a very special donation; their blood. As an incentive to teams, a $25 discount is offered to any
team registering with at least two blood donors. Donating blood is safe and simple. The entire process takes about 45 to 60 minutes.

About Marrow and Blood Cell Donation
Take the first step. Join the registry.
As simple as a painless swab from inside your cheek, you can
register to give a life-saving blood cell or marrow transplant to someone in need. Thousands of patients with leukemia and other life-threatening diseases depend on the Be The Match
Registry, the largest and most diverse registry in the world, to find a life-saving donor. We all have the power to heal, the power to help.
Registrants must be between the ages of 18 – 60 and meet the health guidelines.
To join, you complete a short health questionnaire and sign a form stating that you
understand what it means to be listed on the Registry. Then, a small blood sample
or swab of cheek cells is taken to find your tissue type. This information is added
to the Registry. [Read more: Donation
